So my friend Karen needs things to stay organized or her apartment becomes... hectic. It helps when such things are pretty. I spent an evening making this (including the crazy quilt outside) using scraps of cotton fabric (I've had some since I started sewing... literally... those striped blocks were from my 2nd sewing project), heavy interfacing, some lightweight denim for the inside, ribbon, paint, and all the other notions needed for sewing. Not that difficult.
